Leave a legacy that has the power to transform lives.
Charitable gifts in the form of a bequest are one of the most valued and important sources of funding for the St Vincent de Paul Society in Western Australia, and we sincerely thank you for considering leaving a life changing gift in your will.
For more than 150 years, we have been providing a helping hand to the most marginalised people in our community, by supplying the basic needs of food, clothing, shelter and support.
Sadly, the demand for our services continues to grow as a result of complex issues including unemployment, rising costs of living, homelessness and lack of access to affordable housing, mental health and domestic violence. Thanks to the generous support of people like you we are able to carry out our core work of emergency relief and specialist programs and services, all while continuing to advocate for a more just and compassionate society.
Once loved ones are provided for, many people choose to leave a charitable gift in their will to a cause close to their heart. When you leave a bequest to Vinnies, you are ensuring that we will be able to meet the needs of people in WA now, and into the future.
You can download the clauses here or to request a copy of our legacy booklet please contact Natasha Prins on 08 6323 7535, email bequests@svdpwa.org.au or fill in the form below and we will be in touch.

In Memory
A donation in memory of a loved one is a meaningful way to celebrate their life and values. There are many ways to honour a loved one, and these include:
- Donations in lieu – many families encourage guests to donate to Vinnies WA in lieu of flowers at a funeral. We have special in-memory donation envelopes that can be displayed at the service, or you can include a message within the funeral notice.
- Create a personal tribute page – you can create a personal tribute page here and invite friends and family to make an online donation. They also have the opportunity to leave a personal message and the page can be shared among their networks and social media platforms.
- Direct donations – you can make an in-memorial donation on our website, and can choose to include the deceased’s name and their next of kin if you wish to have your in-memory donation acknowledged. Please note we do not disclose the donation amount in the acknowledgement.
- Regular contributions – a symbolic way to remember a deceased friend or family member is to make regular donations to mark special days like their birthday, anniversary or other special event in their life.
To request donation envelopes for a funeral or memorial service, or for other enquiries regarding in-memory donations, please fill in the form below or call Natasha Prins on (08) 6323 7535.
