Post Lockdown Period until Saturday 1 May 2021

During the current post lockdown period, there will be some limitations and temporary changes to Vinnies WA services and programs.


Emergency Assistance Call Centre

The Vinnies WA Call centre will be taking calls and operating usual opening times Monday to Friday 9.00am – 1.00pm.

Vinnies Support Centres

There will limited face to face appointments provided at any of our Support Centres in the Perth metropolitan area and Peel.  In most cases, support will be provided either by a phone call or online.

Home Visitation

Where possible this service will continue during the post lockdown period but will vary in some areas where assistance will be delivered online.

Furniture Pickups & Deliveries

Furniture pickups and deliveries will continue while observing social distancing and hygiene precautions. These bookings will be limited and you will be notified if we unfortunately  need to reschedule. Please note for new bookings of pickup and deliveries  you may experience some extended timeframes. Urgent requests through our Emergency Assistance program will still take priority.


Vinnies WA Shops

All Vinnies shops in the Perth metropolitan area, Peel and South West regions will be open.

All customers are required to wear masks and sign-in using the SafeWA app or manual contact register.

Homelessness, Mental Health Services and Housing Services

All our Vinnies services such as Passages Youth Engagement Hubs, Tom Fisher House, Vinnies Mental Health and Housing Plus services have remained open. Stringent screening, social distancing and hygiene precautions are in place to ensure the continued safe provision of service.

In our Vinnies Housing Service and Mental Health accommodation service there is a limit to visitor numbers to these locations during this post lockdown period so please consult with the service directly if you plan to visit.


Financial Counselling

If you are experiencing financial difficulty then please call the National Debt Helpline on 1800 007 007 and support will be provided online and/or over the phone.

All Vinnies WA face to face appointments will be suspended for the remainder of this week. If you have an existing booking you will be notified by your Financial Counsellor to reschedule and where possible support will still delivered by phone or email.



Vinnies WA is still operating and will be accepting monetary donations via phone.  For our current Appeals, you can make donations either by phone or online by calling 13 18 12 or visiting our website

Donations of clothes and household items can be now be made at any local Vinnies shop.
