David found out how easy it is to lose everything and be pushed into homelessness.
All his life he worked hard but then the work dried up and he found himself unable to pay the rent. It was a devastating shock. In a few short months, he went from a well-paid job to sleeping in a park.
All it took was one sudden setback and David was sleeping rough.
This winter, more and more people like David are being pushed into homelessness. All it takes is one sudden crisis.
This season, build your winter wardrobe with staple pieces that feel unmistakeably you.
From cosy knits to standout coats and everyday layers, Vinnies is where you’ll find fashion with real character and individuality. It’s style that looks good, feels authentic, and does good too. Because great fashion hits even better when it gives back.
Every purchase helps reduce waste and supports people doing it tough across WA.

The cost of living crisis continues to push even more families to the brink of homelessness.
Donations remain open until the end of July, with all funds raised directly supporting our critical homelessness services.
In 2025, the St Vincent de Paul Society WA, proudly celebrates 160 years of service to the community.
It’s a milestone that reflects not just the longevity of our organisation, but the enduring compassion, commitment and action of generations of Western Australians dedicated to helping those doing it tough.
Their lives were defined by uncertainty, with no safe place to land and no space to simply be children. This winter, your support could mean the difference between a warm bed and a cold street.
